 Founded in 2021, M.E.R.C. Works—short for Mold, Evaluation, Remediation, and Cleaning—was built on a commitment to healthier indoor environments and top-tier service. After a year of laying the groundwork and refining our brand, we officially opened our doors in July 2022.

To expand our reach and better serve our community, we acquired Mold Solutions NW following the retirement of its founder, Vince Gallagher. Today, we carry that legacy forward by combining trusted local expertise with modern, comprehensive mold remediation solutions.

The Owner, Phil Cadez has been involved in Restoration and Remediation for over 30 years and has worked in most fields in the industry including Carpet/Upholstery Cleaning, Water Damage Restoration, Fire/Smoke Restoration, Odor Removal, Crime/Trauma Restoration, and of course, Mold Remediation.

We are an IICRC Certified Firm, Our Owner Phil is an IICRC Journeyman Water Restorer and Journeyman Textile Cleaner and is one certification away from attaining Master Water Restorer and Master Cleaning Technician, a goal that will be achieved before the end of 2026.

 Even after 30+years, we are still training to be the on the cutting edge of our industry.

To provide a top-quality cleaning on every jobsite and prove that it is done right.

How do we prove that it's done right? We collect samples before  (to establish a Baseline) and after for Post Remediation Verification. All samples are sent via FedEx to Hayes Microbial Consulting's laboratory for analysis. 

When the lab tests show that the air quality inside the work area is equal to or better than the air quality outdoors, our job is done. If we fail the lab test, we return to the jobsite and re-clean, re-treat, and re-test for FREE, repeated as often as needed until the lab says it's Complete.

We begin each project with a thorough assessment of the building's condition and needs with a visual inspection, monitoring of moisture, temperature, and humidity. All inspections are documented with photos. 

From there, we create a customized plan that addresses all necessary repairs and remediation processes, and helps to address any specific concerns from the client. 

Our goal is to work as safely and efficiently as possible to minimize disruption to your daily operations.  

We have several options available for different remediation or Specialty Cleaning needs. There are very few things that cannot be restored.
